Mahnaz Mohammadi born January 1, 1975 in Tehran, is an Iranian filmmaker and women’s rights activist. Mahnaz directed her first feature-length fiction film “Son-Mother” in 2019. The film received the Amnesty Award at the Febio Fest film festival in Prague, the Audience Award at the Istanbul Film Festival and the Special Jury Prize at the Rome Film Fest 2020.
