The Casting department at Alambic Production has consistently displayed a high level of dynamism since its inception, achieving notable successes such as Ali Abbasi’s Holy Spider or Milad Alami’s Opponent. a wide network of Farsi-speaking talent from across the world, developed through years of collaboration within the film and television industries. Drawing on this international network, the department provides actors, actresses, and voice-performers in response to the specific needs of each production.
Archive
ALAMBIC provides filmmakers and industry professionals working on projects related to Iran access to a curated archive of photographs developed over years of production. Organised by decade, from the 1970s to the present, each image is accompanied by an identity card, a detailed metadata, allowing for precise navigation through a system of keywords.
This rich resource offers a nuanced, in-depth insight into the atmospheres and visual codes of each period, including accessories, urban and public spaces, interiors, private spaces, and professional dress codes. Designed as a working tool, it supports costume designers, set designers, and filmmakers in constructing accurate and grounded visual worlds.
Sound
ALAMBIC offers expert services in music production and sound design, music post-production, digital mix and mastering, as well as sound editing and recording. In collaboration with Low-Zi Studio, our space is equipped with a comprehensive array of tools, including high-end monitoring systems and a selection of industry-standard D.A.W (Logic Pro / Ableton Live / LUNA Recording System / WaveLab Pro) alongside a curated suite of plug-ins (Universal Audio / GRM Tools / Softube / Waves / iZotope / Soundtoys, etc.)
Additionally our studio features a carefully selected collection of both analogue and digital synthesizers from Moog, Elektron, Nord, Doepfer, Korg, etc. ensuring a versatile and refined audio production environment.
