Sima Needs to Die Wraps Production
Debut feature by Payam Razi completes principal photography

Prague, 2025 — Principal photography has wrapped on Sima Needs to Die, the debut feature film by Payam Razi.
Written by Payam Razi and Kaveh Daneshmand, the film follows a grieving Iranian exile determined to bury her husband in their homeland, whose path crosses that of a dying man returning to his childhood home. As she helps him confront his past, her own longing intensifies, leading her toward a decisive and irreversible act.

The film is produced by Kaveh Farnam (Europe Media Nest) and co-produced by Zar Amir Ebrahimi (Alambic Production) and Payam Razi (Screenshot).
The cast includes Nasrin Pakkho, Robert Russell, Mirali Hosseini, Farid Eshaghi, Edon Rizvanolli, and Hana Kamkar.
Director of Photography Prokop Souček leads the visual approach, alongside Executive Producer Martin Korínek, Production Designer Farhad Vilkeiji, Costume Designer Atosa Ghalamfarsaei, and Sound Designer Stanislav Kejval.
