LILI
Premieres at Cannes Immersive Competition
On May 15th, LILI — our neo-noir, interactive reimagining of Macbeth — had its official world premiere in the brand new Immersive Competition at the Festival de Cannes. This marks a historic moment, as LILI becomes the first video game ever featured in competition at the festival.
Co-produced by iNK Stories, the Royal Shakespeare Company, and Alambic Production, LILI stars Cannes Best Actress winner Zar Amir Ebrahimi as Lady Macbeth, reimagined in the context of contemporary Iran, where power, surveillance, and resistance collide.
Blending cinema, theatre, and interactive storytelling, LILI invites players to navigate Lili’s private digital world, making choices that influence her destiny in real-time.
The immersive experience is showcased at the Carlton Hotel in Cannes from May 13 to May 23, daily from 9 AM to 7 PM.
An Alambic Production, iNK Stories & Royal Shakespeare Company collaboration.
