In Reza’s practice, men arrive one after another. The sonographer examines them at the judges’ request, as part of divorce proceedings. If sexual impotence is proven, divorce may be granted to the wife only in exceptional cases. This behind-the-scenes work makes him question himself: is he complicit in this system that oppresses women?
