HEADLESS TREES

In the midst of the Iran–Iraq War, a three-generation family of women, reclusive under the same roof, is torn apart by socio-political instability and superstition. They take refuge in imaginary worlds: dancing to chase away ghosts, turning funerals into parties, and digging a tunnel underground, all to cope with the traumas of disappearance, possession, and death.
