Alambic Production was founded in Paris in 2019 by Zar Amir Ebrahimi, as an agile yet rigorous production structure, supporting international projects while bringing recognised expertise in Middle Eastern cultures.
The company is distinguished by works deeply rooted in local realities, driven by a co-production approach that encourages the exchange of both technical and artistic knowledge. It places a strong focus on women’s rights and a commitment to the diversity of voices from the region.

Driven by a team of professionals rooted in both Western and West Asian cultures, Alambic Production operates within a rich constellation of creative practices, from production and casting, to an expanding video archive, a multidisciplinary graphic design lab (Atelier Alambic), and a studio dedicated to music and sound design.

With a particular focus on CASTING, the company boasts an extensive database that showcases a diverse pool of talented Iranian, Afghan, Kurdish, and Turkish actors, within cinema and television professionals, both internationally and in their countries of origin. Furthermore, the company provides an exclusive access to a carefully curated collection of ARCHIVAL MATERIAL from various historical periods in Iran, which has been gathered during our extensive production experience.
